A first look at my next Titan feature, codenamed “Wallaby”

Hot on the heels of my latest release, Caught in the Act: A Joe Gage Chronicle, here’s a sneak peek at my next TitanMen feature that comes out in January! Earlier this year I filmed a scene with the fiendishly sexy Aussie Rogan Richards. Rogan and I hit it off instantly and have remained friends ever since; we even got together a few weeks after filming our Titan scene to film our own project, Motel Muscle. Anyway, while we were shooting with Titan, director Jasun Mark asked Rogan to ad-lib some dialogue… “something Australian,” Jasun said. If I told you everything that came next, it would give away the plot of the film… but let’s just say that with one word, “wallaby”, Rogan single-handedly changed the entire direction of the film. More on that later.

Anyway, Jasun’s film, which we’ve been calling “The As-Yet-Untitled Wallaby Project” — or, simply, “Wallaby” — was shot in the style of 1950s and 1960s crime serials; think Dick Tracy meets Dirk Diggler. Jasun has been working on color-correcting the footage to make it look like the movies and comic books of the time. Check out this screen capture from the unaltered footage:

And here’s the same shot after Jasun’s saturation and contrast enhancements:

Pretty cool, huh? The film also stars Hunter Marx, Scott Hunter, Jake Genesis, and Tom Wolfe, and also features a couple of really clever cameo appearances. I’m really looking forward to seeing it when it comes out next month… it’s gonna be awesome! And because I just can’t resist sharing these, here are just a few more teasers from the film… a couple of screen captures from the opening credits, and a cheeky blink-and-you’ll-miss-it behind-the-scenes video of production assistant Dave Richards checking the camera lens for dust. Enjoy!

    Two things:

    (1) I’m having difficulty getting into the Wallaby site; and

    (2) Do you know Rogan Richard’s ethnicity? He looks to be partially Aboringine but the combination, whatever he is, is handsome and sexy.

      Hi Frank,

I’m not sure what you mean by “the Wallaby site.” Could you please elaborate?

Also, I’m not entirely sure of Rogan’s ethnic background. The next time I talk to him, I’ll be sure to ask him. But you’re right… he sure is very handsone and sexy, ain’t he? 🙂
